How it Works
Manufacturing at DTI
DTI manufactures and repairs downhole tools in two purpose built facilities.. Our 30,500-square-foot Louisiana facility runs hollow spindle lathes, CNC lathes, CNC 4 axis mills for stabilizers up to 36” OD. Services include API drill collar and HWDP connection repair kemplate application. Stabilizer hardfacing and OD grinding with six different hardfacing options depending upon drilling conditions -: HF2000, HF3000, HF5000, HF6000,HF6500 and HF6900
Our Vernal, Utah facility has repaired PDC bits since 1993 and remains the manufacturing base for Drill-N-Ream®. Its large-capacity CNC machines produce long, intricate parts in steel and stainless steel, which are brazed and hardfaced on-site before shipping.
